Wonderful Day In The Great Outdoors Fishing For White Bass
Fishing the river during the spring can be action packed.
It was a beautiful day to be in the great outdoors fishing.
Being in the great outdoors fishing is a great way to spend quality time with family and friends.
They picked me up around 5:00 a.m. We got to the river well before daylight and unloaded the boat and headed up the river. It was very cold heading up the river in the dark. We got to a good spot and anchored out and started fishing. We were all freezing and couldn’t wait for the sun to rise. Once it started peeking through the trees it warmed up pretty fast. We caught several nice white bass and it was a great day to be outdoors fishing. I can’t wait to catch some big female white bass.
Catching white bass on the river during the spring is a lot of fun.
We saw several friends we hadn’t seen in quite some time, it is always good to see old friends. The white bass are in the river but the water temperature is still a little bit cool. Once it warms up just a little more the fishing action should really pick up. I can’t wait until the big hybrids and strippers make their way up to do their annual spawning. It is so much fun when the weather warms up and the water temperature gets warm and the fish go bonkers. It had been a long time since I had been in the great outdoors fishing and I really enjoyed it, even with a sinus infection. We a planning on going back next week some time and the action should really pick up with each warm day that we have. I really enjoyed seeing Mac’s daughter catch some fish. Just seeing the smile on her face when she caught her first one was worth the trip. If you get a chance to get out in the great outdoors take a child with you, you will make memories that will last a lifetime.
