With Spring Comes Family Fishing Fun

Taking family fishing in the great outdoors is a great way to make memories that will last a lifetime.
Last spring I had the pleasure of taking my son fishing for the first time and he caught his first fish.

My son Noah with his first fish.
I don’t know who was more excited when he caught his first fish, me, my son or his Granddad. We have a farm pond on our hunting property and it is loaded with catfish bream and bass. Spending time with family fishing in the great outdoors is a great way to spend some quality time together. Just seeing how excited my son was when he caught his first fish was priceless. He talks about it all the time. He says maybe next time we can take his little brother and let him catch some fish too. Memories of my sons first fishing trip are something that I will always cherish. I am looking forward to making more memories in the great outdoors doing some family fishing this spring. If you get a chance take a child fishing do it you will make memories that will last a lifetime. If you get a child involved in the great outdoors at an early age, chances are they will enjoy being in the great outdoors for the rest of their life. I was very fortunate to have a family that got me involved in the outdoors when I was very young and now I look forward to getting outdoors every chance I get. I think it is very important to pass on our love for fishing and hunting so our children and theirs can enjoy it for generations to come. The money that is spent on hunting and fishing licenses goes to help preserve wildlife and wildlife habitat for years to come.

That is a mighty cute boy you’ve got there! (and I’m not just saying that because he’s my grandson!) Looks a lot like his dad. I remember taking you when you were that small. You always loved to fish. I remember when you didn’t have any other bait, you would take bologna and fish with that. You caught quite a few catfish that way. What great memories! Love – Gran
